I have just booked a phone call fro Tuesday with Business Link as trying to get my head around tax, insurance, and everything else you need to know is confusing me and sending me in a spin. I have looked at Business Links site and to be honest think I need a one to one to get me started but are Business Link the only place I need to go for all the infomration needed on starting and running your own business or is there another organisation, etc I should go to too?

They are fairly good (depends on who is dealing with you) but a lot of them just go through the motions, but it does help you to get your feet on the ladder so to speak,
once you are up and running and registered you can do courses for free with the inland revenue to help you out with tax, book keeping etc, hth
