Does anyone have any experience on how to promote new products to skin care professionals -- home-based or salon owners?

I would appreciate any tips and guidelines from specialists -- what works for you, or what makes you interested in finding out more about a new product?

Are there newsletters, forums, discussion boards, etc. that I should be on besides salongeek? Where do you list yourselves?
