Just got my certificate for Level 2 Beauty Therapy through today - yay! I am officially qualified!

Now, where to go from here....................

Well, I'm at the last stage of level 2 beauty - we're currently doing waxing and we finish at the end of June but as it's part time, we do two nights a week (which means I've now got only about 6 lessons left)

I'm up to date with 99% of my other assessments, my assignments and exams (and have had my portfolio passed so far by an external verifier) but still haven't done any waxing assessments...I'm totally struggling to get the hang of it, don't feel confident in it at all - not enough...

....we're doing waxing at college at the moment and it turns out I have a bit of a phobia.

Using hot wax, I was shown the hair embedded in the wax afterwards and it freaked me out so much I burst into tears...just thinking about it now makes me feel quite sick

We're only getting shown hot wax as a bit of an extra, so glad we're getting assessed using warm wax with strips so I don't have to look at that nasty horrible stuff

And I'm so tragically excited it's unreal! The fact that I'm going with a mate I don't see so often is making me even more excited - she's a really good laugh!

I've had my Girls Aloud CD blasting at every opportunity this week, the neighbours must hate me! But to be fair, I see it as revenge on the nutter who lives below us who plays the guitar/drums/sings really badly (and loudly) and random hours....3am on a Wednesday night or 10am on a Sunday morning?!!

I enrolled in my City & Guilds NVQ 2 Beauty Therapy course last night, it starts on 8th Sept, can't wait. So exicted!

Need to order my beauty kit and uniform and stuff now, argh! x
