Wow! I am really surprised by this. Following this thread about Shellac being tested on animals I found the MSDS sheets for both Shellac and Gelish and yes Gelish has indeed been tested on animals.

Like with Avon another reminder that this issue hasn't gone away, and one that we need to remind people about.

So, I now have loads of Shellac colours, done loads of practice and had some clients. But now I need to build more.

Currently trying to work out the best way of doing this - I'm a guy working in a home based salon. I know, hardly one for an easy life!

I know there is big demand around here - just need to tap into it.

I'm just trialing a new credit card payment system - mPowa. It lets you use your phone (iPhone or Android) as a card terminal. You have a merchant account etc with it and payments made directly into your bank account.

Just no monthly fee's - just a transaction authorisation fee (25p + 2.95%). You get a free card reader, and you can buy the soon to be launched Chip & Pin reader too.

If it works well I'm going to ditch my monthly terminal rental and use this instead....

Today, as well as celebrating 7 years of marriage to my wonderful Sonia, I also signed a deed poll to legally change my name to Mrs Ruth Donna Mills.

I've waited *so* long to do this; it seemed all the better to do so on a day with so many special meanings for the two of us too...

So now the deed poll documentation is off in the post; I got it sorted through one of those online deed poll companies, who maintain a record of the deed poll for you in case it ever gets...
