Brilliant mates
Aren't Geeks great? I've met some lovely folks on my Geeky travels and am lucky to count many as my mates, but the generosity of you lot never fails to humble and inspire me.
From the Children In Need auction to the collections for fellow Geeks at Christmas, supportive posts and PMs, healing thoughts and prayers for those in need, the kindness of the Blog Squad, the tireless efforts of the Mods (you ROCK, by the way), the wedding humbugs and Secret Santa and all the stuff that goes on behind the scenes as well, you lot are just damn amazing.
I've also been lucky enough to be on the receiving end of this kindness - the multitude of lovely messages and supportive posts, the gifts from all at very first Geeky Waxing Workshop, Amber, Dee, Louise and the Yorkshire workshop girls, Zoe, and yesterday I received a gift voucher for an amazing Acadamie facial from Gabi... totally out of the blue and "just because"... No hidden agendas, no expectation of anything in return, all have been beautiful gifts from the heart.
The thought and kindness behind these gestures are what really touch me. You really can count on a fellow Geek to lift you up when feeling down, and I just wanted to say a big "thank you" to you all
And now I'm feeling all soppy, so I'll stop there before I show myself up...
