I'm really chuffed because it looks like I've gained a regular client this weekend. She's a friend of my dad's from work and usually has her nails done in her own town (the next one along from me), but came to try me out on Saturday, mainly as a favour to dad I think.
Anyway, she usually has her nails done with LCN gel but came to me for a rebalance and maybe some nail art. I'd done my own nails the night before - half-way between round and squoval with a soft shimmer french and 3D snowflake...

Well, I went to Brighton today afterall - I must be barking! The place was heaving with chavs and the two (yes, only two!) shops we had to go into took us ages. Plus it was blowing a gale so my poor little car got blown around all over the place on the way there and the way home - I do think I need to get one that isn't made of paper cups...

Found my work phone battery had died half way through and just plugged it in to find...

In a jolly old mood cos I've just looked at my diary for December, and between now and Christmas I have 8 appointments booked in already. I know it doesn't sound like a lot, but I've been used to going from week to week with nothing, but in the last fortnight I've picked up 3 new clients: two from my leaflet drop and one from an AOL search, so I'm really happy.

I've been thinking about adding make-up to my repetoir (sp?), but I'm not sure where to start looking for courses. I have...

Just to let people know that Beinn had to be put down yesterday afternoon. It was really horrible so my heart goes out to anyone who's had to have a pet put down before.

Feeling generally grotty today - my back is still sore and my throat and ears hurt. Unfortunately there's no rest for the wicked(!) as we're off out to the cinema this evening, a family trip for mum and dad's anniversary (24 years and no murder committed - yet!).
Al rang this morning to say Beinn is still the same, I think if he's still like it tomorrow they may have to take him to the vet's to see if it's 'time'. It's horrible...
