Been on a bit of a downer with work recently. I'm finding that there are not enough hours in the evening to fit my clients in for their appointments which leaves me with virtually no spare time at all.

I know I shouldn't complain, because I'm lucky to have clients, but just wish I could control things a little better.

I'm going to see a guy tomorrow who is opening a salon which is quite close to me. I'm going to discuss working in the salon for a few days a week which...

Haven't written for a while. Had a new arrival in the house 2 weeks ago - my dog!!!!

She's a little black labradoodle and is 10 weeks old. My daughter named her Lola.

She is so cute - but is keeping me busy - hence me not being able to geek quite so frequently.

What a weekend I've had. I'm absolutely wacked!!

Went to see the Pussycat Dolls last night. Have to say, they were fantastic. Had brilliant seats, not too far from the stage. So I jumped around and sang till I almost lost my voice!!

I've got the concert bug now - can't wait to go to another.

Looking at the fantastic figures on stage is certainly going to spur me on to get myself down the gym first thing tomorrow.

I bet they don't sit on...

Had a fairly good day today. Not as busy as before Christmas, but my regulars are keeping me going.

Went to a long standing client today. She is the perfect client. Has her nails done every two weeks, never looses one, oils them daily - and she's a lovely woman. Anyway, she decides to surprise me today saying that she's bought two tickets to see the Pussy Cat Dolls in the Cardiff international Arena and she wants me to go with her!!!

This is my first journal entry. Don't really know why I haven't done one before.

I've had quite a busy week. Sort of been expecting January to be a lot slower, but it seems to be ticking along quite well.

Got an ice skating party to go to this afternoon. Its my daughters friend - she's 8. So its going to be me and 6 other adults, looking after 15 nightmare 7 - 8 year old girls on an ice skating rink!

I haven't been on ice skates for years - probably...
