I've long wanted to work with nails but never quite knew how to get started and after finishing college and getting a full time job in a call centre before I knew it 4 years down the line and guess what.....i'm still working in that call centre!
So I've come to a point in my life when I decided I'd like to work for myself as a mobile nail technician. So I bought my first course through essential nails. I bought the Spa Manicure Pedicure Course and it arrived friday. After looking through all the products and the books and course work I knew I'd made the right decision. The following day I practised on myself and did a French manicure, the day after this I practised the spa manicure on my sister and gave her a French. She loved it, even though it did take me about an hour and a half to do the whole process but she didn't seem to mind!!!
I'm currently reading through the book & have written a test to test myself to ensure I know everything because although you do get test questions I find them quite easy to answer when its multiple choice as the answer just seems to stands out, however ask me the same question with no choices - minds a blank!
Anyway, there's my first blog!
Back to practising somemore & i'll keep y'all posted on my progress! x x x love and hugs x x x

Sounds like youre gonna love it
I am new to nails too and LOVE it but struggling to make the final decision to leave my what would be considered a 'good job' with a regular wage which im really not enjoying anymore since I had my kids, to plunge headfirst into being a nail technician.
If you love it, its gotta be worth it tho eh?!?
Good luck xPosted 16-09-10 at 11:34 AM by RachFace
