I told you in my other blog about my hubby's efforts at christmas... he takes Jess with him to trafford centre for two hours so she can take him to get what I would like for christmas.

I know he doesn't have to put any thought into it or anything but at least I get things that I would like. It more than makes up for them both not having to lift a finger all year

I have JUST sat down after eating a take away pizza for my tea and throwing my dressing gown on to get comfy....

I went to do my four sets today at the hairdressers... you know, the ones that all wanted their nails doing for Christmas do.

I was feeling ok when I got there... had to park in the multi storey about five minutes walk away and carry my kit case, table, lamp and small box with towel, uv lamp, glitters in etc. My arms were shaking by the time I'd dragged...

Well it's tomorrow that I have either four or five sets to do at a hairdressers. They changed from Friday evening (thank god!) to tomorrow afternoon. They are closed on Mondays but are opening the salon so that I can come in.

They are having nibbles and some wine for Christmas so it should be fun for them.... alas, not for me!!

I have tried poppits and have failed miserably.... booo hooo. I have read and re-read the official poppits thread. It took me FOREVER!!!!...

Does anyone really get anything they want or even a surprise from their OH for Christmas? Just wondering if everyone's OH is like mine or if there are some fellas out there that can make the effort for us.

Don't let me be completely disollusioned. There must be some thought put into it by some men at Christmas.

My OH takes my 15 yr old daughter to Trafford Centre, she drags him to the appropriate shops (after she's asked me what I would like off Dad) and he pays for...

Thought I'd share a couple of things with you today while I'm waiting for my mil to arrive for her infills.

I went to get some spare bulbs for my two sets of lights on my tree and guess what??? You can't get them anywhere anymore!! I've been to five different places including b&q (always a sure thing) and garden centres etc. Apparently there are too many house fires caused by people using the wrong bulbs and not switching them off when they go out etc.

You'd think...
