Yay!!!
FINALLY ... Im a bride
Its been a year almost to the day that I last got a first in photographic and Ive had so many behind scene disappointments & near misses since then ... sometimes, losing out by just one point!
Anyway, it finally feels good to say 'Yeah! Im a winner baby!'

I cant say how this has felt a much needed boost. Its not been a good time for me, my health probs have dragged me down and the sudden death of my dear cousin (Leukemia)...

Well, for once in my life I took my own advice and got myself organised.
My model Deb arrived on my doorstep last Saturday evening, fluttering her false eyelashes, and ready to slip into costume for our practice run at the Photocomp at the NEC.
All went well, I was pleased with the pics and decided on the poses we would go ahead with this weekend.
However, roll onto yesterday and I was just not in the right frame for the task at all.
You see, Ive spent a week...

Well, having ambled around the Worcestershire countryside all this aftie, I arrived home starving, put the tea on and poured a HUGE glass of Chardonnay while it was cooking.
While savouring my large vino on a very empty stomach (do you know where this is going) I then had the brainwave that I would enter Lellipop's Easter comp, albeit the 11th hour (all my comp entries are 11th hour, lol!)

I got all my nail art bits & pieces out as I supped away waiting for my tea.

Well, I cant remember the last time I felt the need to write here, but I kind of do now!
Not long got back from an amazing trip to Venice, where every turn was a photo opportunity, I felt Id died and gone to heaven. ... hard work on the old feet though!

Been to 2 shows in 2 days, one a photographic at the NEC, where I walked for 7 hours and then I caught the tail end of EXCEL yesterday where it was lovely to meet up with my old mates & see some new faces.
Im feeling...

Finished the last course of the term today and boy was I looking forward to putting it behind me. I was a bit surprised when I got there though to see that only 3 peeps had bothered to turn up for the last class. I know 2 were on hols but I just didnt get how the others could put so much effort into the course, then cop out for the last session. I reckon all the beckoning paperwork had something to do with it!
Was pleased to hear that one of the girls has her first paying client this Wednesday....
