The wonder of Chamomilla

Posted 15-01-08 at 11:59 AM by Hope

Well I have had a screaming baby for 10 weeks and was at my wits end, the poor lamb has had terrible colic and it has been a really hard time. However someone recommended I try Chamomilla which comes as teething granules and my goodness what a difference, he still wants cuddles all evening (and all night if he can get away with it ) but he is so much calmer, and so are we!

I honestly though that after having 4 babies already that I was a dab hand at it but it has been an eye opener for me I can tell you.

It has been a crappy end of 2007, beginning of 2008 for other reasons too, and we have a little way to go yet, but fingers crossed things are looking brighter.

To all my friends who I haven't been about for recently, sorry and big 's to you all.

I wish I'd known about those when my boy was a baby - we had endless weeks of screaming (him) and crying (me)..... Colic is a b*tch.

Hi Rach, i know all about colic its horrible, my first used to scream from 6oclock in the evening until 9oclock at night every night. The only way i could soothe him was to push him up and down the front room in the buggy or take him for a ride in the car tbh i did anything to try and calm him down...it suddenly stopped when he got to about 3 months. I can really sympathise with you. Hears to a great 2008xx
