Had my microdermabrasion training with Skinbase today. Fab training - Natalie is lovely and a fab trainer. Really enjoyed it and can't wait to start doing the treatment. Got 5 booked in this week to get me started.

I have been doing nails (and beauty) for approx 5 years now. Never really had any confidence for acrylics despite spending loads on courses.

Finally decided to give it one last shot or cross acylics off my menu for good. Booked a 121 with Rheah (cnd educator from Leicester). Goodness is she worth the money! I am now chomping at the bit to do more nails - she has improved my skills no end!

Finally after being open for 5 months, I have given up my part time job and have decided to concentrate fully on my beauty room

Little bit scarey but very excited! No more working with scumbags (those of you who know me, know what my day job was!). Will definitely be investing in Shellac as I've had a few calls for this - not many seem to be offering it my way. No more 5.00am starts and 10.00pm finishes!

Well, only 3 days to go to my launch day! have got the keys and been down today putting up my certificates and some lovely pictures/posters.

Also hoovered floor and cleaned up. Discovered I had a hidden cupboard behind the very large mirror! Very surprised and delighted as I now have plenty of storage for my tan solutions, mani and pedi bits and bobs and all my eyelash stuff!
