Its now all starting to sink in and i've stppoed calling it the shop now and i'm now calling it "the salon"...because it now looks like one.

The hardest job is over.The floor is all down.The back room floor needs pressure washing,a few more shelfs need to go up and the place needs lots of dusting.The shop sign is going up tommorrow and my sink(with goreous beech vainty unit)is being delivered next week along with my reception desk(rem- suflo).

Well its been 11 days since i got my keys and a long time since i updated my journal so here i am.Broken nails,covered in dust and covered in paint,no make up but dark circles instead...nice look!not!

Well so far all the rooms have been painted and look lush.Soft yellow in my spray tanning room and pale aqua in my nail/reception area.I love it.Oh and just to be different my toilet/washroom is lavendar.

The hardest and worst job has been the flooring.I brought wood effect...

Been a while since i updated my journal.I haven't really had a lot to write to be honest regarding the salon.

I cashed my cheque from the funding company and now its sitting safely in the bank...waiting to be spent in ikea!

Next week...january 12th the committee of councillors are meeting to discuss if my application for change of use should be granted.I have been told by the council,my landlord,that the councillors are going to think it is a waste of time having...

Been a while,can't say a lot has been happening on the salon front till recently but just haven't had time to update the journal so here we are.

The funding company have taken there time getting back to me with a loan agreement to sign and i have had to chase them.Apparently the paperwork should be with me tommorrow.This is what all the stress and grief has been over in the last few months...finance.But now it looks like the funds should be clear on the 22nd December....

Well here we are,been a while!Not been doing much salon related stuff lately but have sorted out my insurance and basically covered the whole salon for everything.One of the condition of my funding was not only a letter from the council but also but my insurance info so all that has been put in the post and then it should be two weeks before i can really get my teeth into the salon.

I have been really pulling my hair out over this change of use being granted...
