I am trying learn how to use salon geek to post business questions. What should I be doing?

Has anyone tried direct marketing to get clients or has any suggestions on how to get started?

I want to put together a mailing campaign but I don't have a clue of where or how to start. Bills are pilling up and my clientele is growing slowly so I've got to jump start my business.

Just so you guys know what is/isn't working this is what I've done to get business in thes past 8 months.

I know this is an old topic but I have the same problem with my step kids. They never want to pay... not even a tip and barely a thank you. However, these children have and do pay other nail salons when receiving services. I got fed up and I
WILL NOT perform anymore services for free. I am sooooooo sick of people taking advangtage of my kindness so everyone is charged the price on the menu. If they don't like it they can go to somebody else! Period.
