Well, Sonia and I were just getting ready to go out to town, when we got a knock on the door by a couple of police detectives... apparently someone phoned them to say that they thought they had seen Madeleine McCann in the back of our camper van around 3 years ago!

Which is very bizarre, as we don't recall having had any children on board our camper van - and if they were, they would most probably have been one of the daughters of a friend of ours (all 3 were bridesmaids at our wedding...

I've just invented a new game!

It's like rugby in that you're passing a ball-shaped object, but instead of a rugby ball, you use a Pug!

The aim of the game is to grab the Pug from the sofa next to Sonia, and carry it across to the pouffe next to the TV, so you have enough space to sit down and geek next to your wife.

When you put the Pug down on the pouffe, she will "swear" at you (in much the same way that Mutley in the cartoons would), and then...

As arranged, I went for a visit to Angelina's salon in Kidderminster this morning - both to get my hair done, and to meet Angelina and the rest of the team.

We sat down to go through hair colours over a coffee just after I arrived, and then Louise (the hairdresser) was on hand to apply the colour using foils (I went for light blonde and peach colour highlights, although I was initially tempted to go for a rather vibrant copper instead of the peach, which in hindsight I think may have...

Well today was the last day of the IT contract that I have been working on for the last 2 years, that got rather stressy around the middle of June and has stayed stressy ever since.

So I celebrated tonight by going to see Sharon for a full body wax, and also got my lashes and brows tinted (got my brows especially dark as well - why not? I'm going to make a proper go of being girly now, at least for the next couple of months).

Tomorrow morning, I'm off to Angelina's salon...

After a rather more eventful journey than planned, owing to an alternator failure on the M62 which caused us to have to pull up on the hard shoulder near Rochdale and wait for the AA man, we finally got home at 12.35 am!

But the AA man was absolutely fab - just like the advert used to say "a very nice man, a very very nice man" LOL!!!
