I got home yesterday from being in the States for a couple weeks. Since my body clock is way out of wack, I got up at about 3:30am and decided to spend this morning updating various elements of the site.

• The Journal system is updated with a new look and feel making it FAR more intuitive and good looking
• Categorized the articles section (been needing to do that for awhile)
• Switched sub forums and categories to appear on home page
• Updated geekmolians system
• Tweaked gift display

...

Just had notice that the site is not exceeding my 100gig per month bandwidth limit.
When I moved servers 8 months ago, I was hitting about 50-70 gig per month. Now I'm hitting 150gig per month!

Anyone notice how freaking busy its been round here lately? The vast majority of the time, there are over 100 on-line users at any one time. Since January, our daily visit rate has gone up to around 4,000 unique visitors with 44% appearing to come from a USA network.

Have just spent the morning coding some new options for members profiles. The two new options will enable users to enter when they got into the industry as well as write about any systems they currently use.

Hope this helps others when trying to post questions.

Well, today I made a slight silent change to the reputation system here on the site. This change caps the maximum # of points a member can give. Some members were getting to be giants in their ability to decimate or build up a member with one fell swoop with the amount of freaking points they could give out.
I also made it so a member HAS to leave a comment MUWHAHAHAHAHA.

I hope that doesn't give some moron the license to start leaving OTHER users names. Its dead simple to...

Been casually working on a new 'toy' for the site. A little raw and kind of stupid right now but none the less kind of fun (though you cant expect him to do all the talking).
