Can't believe it, after a few years suffering terrible constipation, bloating etc., being fobbed off by every doctor known to man with laxatives etc., had a referral to St. Thomas Hospital, London and immediately they told me I had a prolapse. Have to have all these test and then hopefully an operation to sort it. I am so relieved to finally know what is wrong. Apparently it probably happened after the birth of my daughter 11 years (difficult delivery). Why do all doctors diagnose you with IBS...
