she was probably hoping he wouldnt open it there and then

spoke to the police and they say its a legal matter. My bf went back and she started threatening to go to the police, lawyer etc and is now ignoring all phone calls . i am so bloody mad xx

they just really said id have to go to a lawyer and get advise from them which i expect will cost a fortune. shes also now saying that she is seeing a lawyer too-which will be another lie- as the other 50 was a deposit. the reason i never got the hair done was that the hair never arrived and i was calling her about it and she would never answer so after a few weeks when she claimed the company was refunding her so she could buy it again i just said would it be ok for them not to resend and just refund and she said oh yes thats fine . Only now shes claiming she has the hair sitting which is a lie as she cannot show it when asked and the reason i didnt get my hair done is because there was no hair.

she seems to be a pathological liar and i really doubt she ever intended to order the hair in the first place as the excuses and lies and ignoring her phone started from the first time i asked when the hair would arrive xx

I would say the next thing you should do is send a recorded delivery letter to this girl stating exactly what has happened and what is owed etc and give her seven days to pay in full or you will take the matter to small claims court.

I successfully made a claim through www.moneyclaim.gov.uk a couple of years ago. Citizens Advice Bureau can also help advise you.
