Just a little reminder to us all (me included), how we should make it easy for people to get back to us.

Do you have a signature or your email with your mobile number?
So often I would rather just pick up the phone and speak to them but I can't if there's no number.

When you leave a voicemail, do you say 'You've got my number haven't you', rather than actually leave it?
I know that numbers come up on mobiles, but not always.

Do you text without signing off, (assuming that the recipient has you logged in their phone)?
I spend half my text allowance saying 'Sorry, but who is this?'

My pet hate is when clients text 'Do you have an appointment?'
When for? What for? Who are you?

When you email or leave a message, remember to leave details of why you're emailing.
If it's about training, leave the date or the course for example. I speak to so many people every day that it all blurs into one and I feel so rude. help us out a little.

Finally, I'm amazed by how many websites don't actually have the full postal address and more importantly (in this SatNav age), the postcode. Not if you're freelance of course, but I'm talking about salons and offices.
I wanted to send someone some flowers recently, but I've never met them and searched their beautiful, all singing, all dancing website for a postal address. Nothing to be found.

I think just as bad as not leaving a number is when someone leaves a very long rambling message & then quickly garbles the number so that you have to listen to their rambling message over & over to get those last 2 digits!!

'Hi its me & i need to cancel/change my appointment, can you ring me back please, bye'....

Oh i have my full address details and telephone number on my website and on any emails i send-i'm organised lol
I do spend a lot of time though, as Martin said, straining to hear garbled messages on my answer phone as i can never quite catch the number!
Hopefully they leave a name as i have everyones details logged on my computer system at work.
It also drives me mad when i get a text saying 'hi this is my new number'.
