My partner's blue VX220 is called the Little Blue Beast.

My ex-husband's first car was Arnie Allegro, then he went up in the world and bought Ginny Golf. Then back down again with Sebastian Skoda, tee hee.

I always name mine after the Reg No.

And even sadder, i name everyone elses when i'm driving or walking

God knows why but I call my clapped out Escort Betty!!!! Lol

I had a burgundy polo called the sh** machine when I first passed by test.

Then I had Rolf the Golf, a green E reg golf (god I loved him!)

Then I had a red golf called 'God it's not broken again is it!'.

Then a blue golf estate called Arabella Bus

and now I have Puck - PUK is the number plate - who is a Subaru Legacy Estate who I love too but noone beats Rolfie, I still miss him!!!!!!! Lx

mine is called pony as the plate is pny or bernard after the character out of blackadder. its an amica and looks a bit old and used

I had a PT Cruiser that I loved sooooo much and I called her Miss Betsy Bootle (Don't ask)

Now I have to drive around in my husband's old back Warrior Truck that he previously used for work. It was only suppose to be a temporary solution 3 years ago and I don't know why I ever agreed, but I call it Shrek because it is just so big, battered and ugly and everyone looks and keeps a way from me (probably my driving). x

They all have names as they all have a personality. Some are from the reg number, some are from the model and some names just suit the car. One thing I have had in all my cars is my tax disc holder that I've had since I passed my test which has got Dastardly & Mutley 'Wacky Races' on it. It's kind of my good luck charm!

A good few years ago we had an old VW camper van which we traveled 1000's and thousands of miles in,at 55MPH max...even took it on a 3000 mile round trip to the south of France for 2 months one year...best time and holiday we've ever had.

My eldest now 18 at the time was only 4 years old then and used to call it "bob bob"
The name just seemed to stick ever after
