I just wanted to share being the proud mother..................my eldest son, Alex who is 15, has just passed his black belt grading in karate today...........after 8 years working his way through the grades. He was nervous and so was I! Bad timing though........my youngest son was finishing his swimming lesson at the same time, when they put my name out on the tannoy to hurry so as not to miss the grading! Talk about being torn two ways. I then had to get my 11 year old daughter to help her brother dress while I ran.........literally..........through the club so as not to miss it. I missed the first five minutes but then scooted in quietly and thankfully, my hubby had rushed home from work and he videoed the rest. These are the moments when the trials and tribulations of being a mum (especially to a teenager!) are all worthwhile!

Well done Alex my god 15 years old and a black belt he must of been very dedicated ove rthe years and you running him back and forth.

oh how nice , i only got to green belt and jacked it in, i regret it now though coz i used to have a flat stomach lol , i am definatley sending james when he is old enough ,i used to love going even when i had a hang over , tell him congratulations love dee
