Before i start my rant i just wanted to wish everyone a "Merry Christmas & Happy New Year" and well done to everyone for raising so much money for the Cancer fund..

Here we go..! I don't know if any of you remember that i wrote a thread a few months ago asking for help about a situation i was in regaurding the mother of Salon ower where i used to work. As i stated in the thread i just felt she underminded myself and a co-worker and she said some very unprofessional things infront of clients which made me very cross.
Anyway to cut a long story short a girl i have known for many years pass her 3 day course and took over from me which i didnt mind at all...i even told her to come on to this site..! Big mistake...I thought as a professional site she would benefit loads from here as i have, but she took it one step futher and printed my threads and showed them to the lady in question..! "So professional"

I'm not concerned that the mother knows because everything i wrote was honest and the truth but i had delt with my situation and i left on good terms with the salon ower and i love her to bits as i do the other girls that work there.
I just cant beleive someone would be that small minded and underhand to try and futher themself..! I tryed to help this girl with infomation about this site and different mags that were worth getting, even telling her to try and get onto Chocolate's airbrushing course ! She took on alot at the Salon..not long passing her foundation going straight into Salon work is a big step...Clients had to get used to nails taking 1 1/2 hour to 31/2 hours i new she would find it hard going and she misused this site and that hurts.

Sorry for ranting but needed to get it out of my system.

I am very much a firm believer in what goes around comes around - maybe she will get hers LOL.

ooh dear , well like fiona said i believe in karma, if u act like a t*** it will come back and bite you on the a***, try not to get too worked up , although i would probably wanna give her a gobful , but dont bother coz she obviously isnt worth it , take care love dee

What a cheek she certainly has a short memory when it was you who helped her never mind i too believe in what goes around comes around. Keep your chin up she obviously dosent realise that the people she stands on - on her way up the ladder is the people she meets when she falls.

Well hopefully she is reading this now eh!!!! What a nasty thing to do all you can do is rise above it and think that if that is the only way that she can get by in life to belittle someone who is supposed to be her friend she wont get very far will she!!! I too believe what goes around comes around - dont worry hun she will probably realise the error of her ways. Tipical that the only way she thinks she can get this lady on her side is by showing you up, this is not the way forward.

She's obviously feeling quite insecure about her position in the salon, about her ability and is deperately trying to make herself feel better.

I would imagine the Salon have been saying things like........ 'when Vicky was here, such and such was done like this'..... or...... 'Vicky's a great technician isn't she'......so this new girl is feeling threatened so she's trying to turn the focus away from her on to you.

I know it's annoying, and you're as mad as hell right now but try to put it to one side - she will find out later in life that it's not the way to behave, as someone will do something similar to her and she'll know it was wrong.

Unfortunatly in this Industry there are Some People


& then there are the Professional Technicians that have Maturity, Respect & Stability.
These are the people that would never waste their time bothering to create a problem for another Tech or undermine other fellow Industry Related Members.
Of course as has been said before "That Theres Aways Karma"

the girl in question will be feelin insecure and is clutching at straws to try and build her confidence, even if it is in a very underhand way!

What goes around comes around and this will be her downfalll and at the end of the day I bet you only told it how it was so maybe this will benefit the owner and she will think on and try not to undermine her staff in the future?

Just an idea to release built up anger......
Why not ask for a punch bag for Christmas and knock ten bells out ov it imagining it is her. That way if you ever see her in passing smile sweetly in the knowledge that she gave u the best exercise session of you life! It will also release any built up anger as this is not a time to let this insecure person ruffle your feathers b4 Christmas.

You know what you ladies said about "what goes around comes around" Well due to a very horrible situation happening to the poor people involved and employed by Star Nails, "someone" has lost money on a course they had paid for..!

there r 2 things to b learnt from this situation:
1. that when people do things to better themselves at the expense of someone else, it will EVENTUALLY come back & bite them on the bum.
2. sometimes, however you think the time is right, it doesn't always pay to tell all about your predicament!
however much you secretly dream about them suffering some "come-upance", it also doesn't do u any good to spend too much time thinking about it.
life is short...
focus on YOUR wellbeing, & carry on in your own sweet way, & become the best u can b.
i've experienced some pretty awfull dumping on in the last 20 yrs of being in business, but where r they now?!?
forget it & plan the next yr of your career!

like Liza I have seen it happen too often and it is not positive for YOU to spend a moment more thniking about her or the situation. Don't waste your time or energy in negative thought.
