If I was offered this, then yes I would. Just think of the number of ladies who walk through the doctors door, either for themselves or their children. EVERYONE will use their doctor at some point in their lives
You would only need one or two treatments per month to cover the cost, then think of all that repeat business. How long do you have to sign up for? You would only probably want to do it for 6-12 months. Just my opinion thou. xx |

Dont do it its far too expensive .
Ive tried it and found that the surgery runs out of the cards or dont give them out also you may get a call about advertising on a monitor at the doctors and or post office thats another waste of time as the monitors are not always switched on. Ruby |

Well, I agree with amberrose. I think Local advertising is great. But it is when they said about the 12 month thing that put me off.
I have recently moved to a new area & I am getting 1/4 page add for 3 months with full editorial for first month for £80. I only want to target local area so I think it may be worth it. Saying that it is early days, need to see what response I get. But I am willing to take chance, you dont get anywhere unless you take risks. I would say go for it (but not for 12 months) and also try to get them to reduce price. I did and got 20% knocked off what they suggested. good luck whatever you decide to do. x |

I did a similar ad campaign on drs appointment cards, although it was for much less money, with a company called SOL Surgeries On Line. They were very helpful, the ad looks great, it's been around for just over a year......and i haven't had one client from it
I work in a slightly different area from most of you - and i would've thought i'd be MORE likely to get a client this way. *shrugs* Who knows why, but it has been a complete waste of money. |

I no you can't because you already work full time for a housing company but I would strongly suggest you do your own leaflets and leaflet in your area that you know might be prosperous. I am ligit Self employed mobile Beauty/nail therapist(registered with inland revenue and nail art tutor for adult Ed both part time but if your not classed as self employed with inland revenue you need to be very careful what ever you decide. Goodluck
