I just had to share my latest experience with you all!

I thought to myself i'll treat myself & go & indulge in a spray tan(my local sunbed shop has been advertising it at a special offer of £9.95). So off i went all ready, however when iarrived i realised that the shop now has new owners but still i was sooo excited about my new bronzed look i though what the hell i'll give it a go what have i got to loose!

The lady who applied the tan spoke very broken english so it was more sign language & half hearted smiles! when i was finished off iwent home to relax & await my new developing tan (6 hours she said it would take).

My legs are well image David ****inson (you know the one "cheap as chips") plus mix with an orange or two! The rest of me isnt too bad however i do havestrips on my arms & legs!!! LOL

Well sorry about the whinge ive learnt my lesson i will definatley be going to a reputal salon in future!

Although please feel free tolaugh with me cause if i did'nt laugh i'd be crying!!! Just glad the weather is not too nice i can hide away under my jeans & jumper!!! LOL !!!

Also not sure how long it will take to fade, i think she said it should last for around 2 ~ 3 weeks !!! HAHA!!! Lucky me! I think i will be inveesting in some exfoliant & try to scrub it away!!! LOL

i assumed (maybe wrongly) that because the lady didn't speak english that it might be a nss. also because of the streaking and colour coverage you have.

Oh most definatley a NSS!!!!!

When i use to go the lady was a qualified beauty therapist! I think this lady who sprayed or should i say tangoed me!!! may have attended a short course &maybe thought this is how i can make some money!!! She gave me no after care advice or anything!!!

Ps. im not saying there is anything wrong with short courses just i felt this one individual has let the side down!

best aftercare advice in this instance is DO NOT MOISTURISE!!!!! Get yourself down to the local swimming pool in the next county (so you don't meet anyone you know...!) and stand in the deepend until the lifeguard insists you leave. That should cut into the colour on your body. Then go and have a microdermabrasion treatment on your face.

You might be a bit pruned on the body, but your face will be smooth and gorgeous, and with any luck the colour will be less tango, and more cafe au lait.

After many years of use to cover up spots, dodgy hair dos and of course, spray tan 'incidents', it is looking a little ragged. But you are more than welcome to it if the other treatments don't help! x

You will probably find that the colour will only last 7-10 days as this is about the life of most spray tans. If you want to hurry it along, you might want to speed it up by making a body scrub & add a bit of lemon juice to tone down the colour. All you can really do now is wait!

This is a daft question but what should i do with the lemon juice & does it have to be a real lemon or could i use a jif lemon?!? Cor i sound & feel like a bloody right lemon!!! haha!

LMAO ah bless tango woman!

The best way i have found is to have a long bath and then get a rough old towel with no fabric sofener on and scrub away. You'll find the tan will come off quite easily this way.

Ha ha!! Thanx anyway. Im off too hibernate now till the bright orange glare has died down. To make matters worse my hubbie has just got home from work & said oh my god what have you done!!! Thats it im not going out in public till im back to my nice pale self!!!

Hi ya, to try and help your hands and face, use face wipes or make up remover wipe frequently, when i had my disaster i bought some cheap ones from superdrugs and they seemed to remove it quite quickly it seemed to be the actual wipes that were better to use, my friend said that the other day she was peeling oranges for her triplets and found as she was getting it everywhere it was removing her tan so if you fancy rubbing orange peel all over your body that might help lol! Failing that you may have to stick with it and just keep exfoliating etc xx
