Wow Joanne well done you. Bet you and your purse feel better! Why not treat yourself to some GOOD facials to help improve your skin, use some of that money that you would have spent on the dreaded weed!

Well done Joanne - you've done so well. The weight gain is a bummer but happens all too often when you first give up - I'm sure it will all balance out in the end - its a small price to pay for getting healthier in yourself and getting that nasty old nicotine out of your system.
Brilliant achievement Joanne - you should feel so proud of yourself - just make sure you keep it up! |

Well done Joanne!
I was the worst smoker in the world (40++) and I packed them in 4 years ago. I still get the odd inclination but, to be honest, I couldn't be bothered being such a slave to the weed. I know if I had one puff, I would be back to square one on the same day. I am not conscious of really feeling better but I certainly don't feel as groggy headed as I used to (if that makes sense). Yes, unfortunately, I have put on quite a bit of weight but, to be honest, I would rather be a plump non-smoker than the skinny fag eater that I was. Keep it up and go on holiday with the money you save! |

Well done it is well worth it. I quit 16 months agao and have also put on a lot of weight which has really depressed me but don't think I will ever smoke again.
I read the Allen Carr book Easyway to Stop Smoking and would thoroughly recommend it, I really thought it couldn't work until the last chapter but it did. btw I was a serious smoker 40 a day smoked for 27 years (since I was 11) and had treid many times unsuccessfully to give up |
