Hi Peeps,

I have been searching the forums for waxing training or courses, have no idea where to start or what to look for and some didn't come up with what I wanted. Maybe some of you could give me a few threads to look at or some advice on a place that specialises in waxing. I am so scared these days to spend my hard earned money on something not worth it. I had to learn the hard way with nails before discovering Creative and can't afford the same mistake again!!!

Please help!!!! I'll be searching on the internet as well while you guys have a think, thanks for your help!!!

Try Captial Hair & Beauty supplies. They do one day courses in Warm Wax and Advanced Waxing (Brazillian etc). They work out about £90 each.

did mine at coventry, elisons. £165 including a large kit, certificate and lunch. excellent training.

I have done some more research with regards to these waxing courses and found a place called Training Solutions. I got all the details off their website but I also see that Babtac recommend them and I am a little hesitant because Babtac recommended the first college I trained with in nails, turned out not so great . Their course prices do not include the kits, and was wondering if any of you have trained with Training Solutions.

I did check out Hive of beauty, the lady is only back on Tuesday.

Hiya Babe....I did an Ellisons course as a refresher....excellent tuition, excellent products, Excellent certification enabling you to gain insurance and "practice" waxing.......but NOT enough of a client range to make you proficient in my honest opinion! A full leg wax, One bikini line, one underarm and a upper lip and eyebrow I did.....that was what I considered a refresher.....there were girls on that course who had never seen a wax spatula in their entire life!!!!!
After doing the course....(we used Salon Systems and as far as Im aware it was a Salon Systems Educator that actually came to Ellisons).....I really do think you need to grab as many bodies as you can to use the skills you have learnt in order to be proficient.
Ive been waxing for 7 years and Im STILL (Unashamedly, I will add!!!) learning, ALL the time!

No I didn't find one in west sussex, I did go all the way up to tamworth to go and do my waxing with hive, so worth the 4 hour drive. I felt very confident when I left, money well spent, I highly recommend them!
