Clarins Interview

Hey everyone,

This is my first thread so please help me out!

I applied for a clarins job 8 weeks ago and only last week heard back, that i have got a telephoneinterview and it will be arranged shortley! woohoo!

but,

its been a week since i heard from them!? does anyne know if they are always this slow? I did email them back saying 'Thanks for your email, I look forward to hearing from you'

Do i email them to see whats happening?! But for all i know the recruitment lady/man could be off sick!

Also anyone know the kind of questions they ask!??

I can only give my opinion, but I had a telephone interview in the spring.
They contacted my 6 weeks after I applied, I had my telephone interview a week later, I was then invited for a face to face interview which I was informed would be 2 hours long, I would be required to do a presentation and it would take place at lunchtime in a cafe Nero!!

Before I got as far as attending the interview, I had been offered another job, I contacted the interviewer as I wanted to know what the ballpark figure for wages would be if I were to be successful in the interview, as I had to decide between the 2 companies.

The interviewer flatly refused to discuss money prior to interview, and told me that by even asking it seemed that money was more important to me that working for the clarins brand!!

Bit too up themselves for my liking!! In an ideal world money wouldn't matter, but the position was a commute away so I had to allow for travel costs.

Hope this was only my experience, and they're not just a rubbish company full of their own overinflated self importance!!
