Help me everyone!!! My hair is quite long and it is lovely and I have had it long for ages!! I'm just getting a bit bored of it now as it's just staright and boring!! I fancy something a bit fresher and funkier for summer!! I like the style of Reese Witherspoon in the link about but it would'nt be as short as that and it would be a bit messier!!! What do you guys think? Thanks alot! All suggestions welcome!! Lots of Love Hugs and Bubbles Tilly xxxxxxxx |

Hi Tilly,
Dont make the same mistake I did pleeeeeease!!!!!! A while ago I was so sick of my being so long (all the way to my bum) and thick and a mission to wash. I also used to get headaches from my hair. Ask Sassy I have alot of hair but Its just past my bra strap now and it's been layered to make it more light and and the layers are shorter on the top to give it some body. My hair is very long yes but I can still style it any way I want. If you cut your hair short you are only limited to one style. Rather go and speak to the hairdressers like Sassy said and get some advice please!!! xxxx |

Hair cut to shoulderlength, razor cut extended layers throughtout, choppy fringe swept to side, choppy disconnected layering through front, disconnected layer at crown area(to give height) Then ide have a few slices of colour through top layer, fringe and crown area. PPPUUURRRFFFEECCTTT!!!! wont take alot off the perimeter of the cut but just good layering and good use of colour throughout.

Ok when you cut hair especially layers it is done so each one is connected to the next so that you get a continued shape, so diconnection is the opposite so hair in the crown area would be taken a little shorter and/or sliced a little more to remove bulk so giving more height, fullness and a lighter weight area.(hope im making sense!!! |

I had my hair cut like this a few weeks ago and i think its great because i just wanted a messy look and thats what i got and some times i dont even blow dry it i just leave it dry on its own and it dont matter if it sticks up in places because thats how its supposed to be. i had mine cut like this because my hair was all one length and its really thick but this style means its full of different length layers which makes it a lot lighter.
i think that you need to think long and hard before you have it cut like this, ive seen your hair the other week when we meet and it is really nice. |
