Coloured Gel - 15-06-05, 10:46 AM

If I were to do a coloured gel overlay on the natural nail would I add it on to the end of a manicure treatment like you would do with polish

OR

Would I do it and treat it as an artificial treatment?

I offer both. If I add it to a manicure then they get a half price manicure. Some clients dont want a manicure & prefer to treat it more like a file & polish, quick & easy. Some like the pampering.

I treat gel applications as artificial treatments, and therefore only do a "dry" manicure along with preparation in the usual way. Creams and lotions can interfere with gels and promote lifting and so IMO, it is best to avoid using them directly beforehand.
