Oh my god, U2 were amazing last night at the City of Manchester Stadium

Bono simply is cool personified

Me and Anthony were about 3/4 of way back but at a side bit by a railing which had a slight raised bit at it's base so I stood of that all night and could see really well - and the band didn't look like ants running around the side, I could see them really clearly!

We got there about 7ish, me, Ant, my brother and his 2 mates, and U2 came on stage at 8.20pm. Was 2nd time I've seen them and they just don't lose the magic at all, fantastic performers.
The sound was a bit muffled at first but they soon cranked the volume up!

Highlights for me were:

Where the Streets Have No Name (of course!!!)
Vertigo (when played as the last song of the night with all the lights in the Stadium flashing and the crowd going mental)
With or Without You
New Years Day
Elevation
Pride
Sunday Bloody Sunday

...most of it really!!!!

I couldn't believe I could actually see Bono when they came on stage I just love him

Anyway, I'll shut up now, I could go on for ages longer!!!!

So am I! I'm going with my boyfriend and his three brothers and their wifes/fiances/girlfriends, lol.

To all the U2 attendees - have an absolutely amazing time, I really can't say enough how amazing they were. I know people who've gone tonight and I wish I was there again!!!!

That would've been cool to meet up I'm not sure where we are, I know we have four sitting and four standing (I think me and Paul have ended up with the seats ), but that's all I know, lol.

my fiance is also going to hampden to see them on tuesday, he is going with my brother and his girlfriend......there is a ticket there for me if i want to go but i declined the offer....am i the only one who doesnt like u2 apart from a few of their songs?
