Yeah I know, tell me about it, I hate ordering elsewhere!!!!

I've never met a miserable successful salesperson but there are plenty unsuccessful ones.

i needed next day delivery before noon(which is £10) as i need an item in a hurry
(though its £8.50 for 24 delivery and i called b4 12pm?????)

i said 'could i have the next day delivery before noon please?'

she said 'its £10 you know'

why couldnt she just say 'yes of course, that will be £10 for that' ?

or something a tad bit cheerful-er

I hate rude people. I'm always double rude back to teach them a lesson. I've often asked them outright if they're always so rude or whether it was just for my benefit. Shame them, that's what I say. xx

I don't think these people realise that it effortless to be polite and lots of effort to be rude!
I don't like people who ask me to spell my name, its not that difficult to spell 'Andrea'!

i mean
its their job to be nice!
my job is nails, i am nice, polite, cheerful and friendly to my clients, even if im have a ****ty day!

like waitresses, i hate miserable waitresses, so they never get a tip!
helpful, attentive, cheerful waitresses (like the girl in pizza hut on my daughters birthday who came rushing over to clean up when my b/f (yes b/f, not the 5 year old) spilled his pepsi all over me and little one, and saw the funny side!) get a big tip

A solicitor mate of mine always does this which makes me giggle. If she gets very bad treatment, she always says to the culprit "Can you spell your name for me please incase I decide to sue". Quality, I love it.

Do you remember that line in Ab Fab where Eddy goes into the really posh art gallery and the bimbo on reception talked down to her? Eddy goes "Drop the attitude love, you only work in a shop."

i phoned creative today to ask about an account and they were great, very polite and answered all my questions no problem,

I ordered a new lamp from ellisons last week!! I swear to god the woman has literally just fallen out of bed!!! She gave me all the wrong info, she took my payment but has still sent me a bill to settle even though I'd already paid for it and then only sent me half of the order and the other half had to get sent out after it!!

They are all a little half hearted about their jobs methinks!!

i too hate rude, ignorant people - it cost nothing to be polite to people.

I know just what you mean and it gets my back up too.....BUT....i used to work on phones and sometimes customers forget that we are human too....we have bad days and trauma in our lives sometimes and as much as we try sometimes just cannot hide the fact that we are unhappy at that moment in time. I had some terrible news and had to work 2 days later....i know i wasn't my usuall self that week but i couldn't help it....sometimes i think we forget about what may be going on in someone else life and just think they are there to serve us. If it happened every time then yes its bad and i would mention it....but if its just now and then....maybe just let it go over ya head.....you don't know she may be feeling ill or have something upsetting going on in her life.

its not just that she is sad or upset, but blunt, cocky and rude

you can still be polite and sad x
