hi all
just to let u know that i had the pleasure of doing kate moss' nails yesterday for a jewellery shoot for a magazine.
the team was well known to kate, and the mood was very relaxed.
it was great fun, everyone had a great sense of humour.
it was a pleasure to work alongside the likes of the photographer Rankin and the celebrity hairdresser Sam McNight.
the main topic of conversation was the upcoming glastonbury!
these people sometimes get such a raw deal in the press, but yet again, i'm pleased to say that in a relaxed envoirment they are all very natural and "normal", talking about their kids and big brother!
they say to know someone, you have to walk a mile in their shoes.
i'm sure i would get fed up eventually if a photographer constantly shoved a camera in my face for one more shot.
i know they are in the public eye, but it must get just too much sometimes.

i also had lengthy chats to the director of the magazine. she desperatly wants her nails done like mine!
we had long chats about the problems the nail industry is experiencing at the moment regarding inaccurate information going into commertial press.
hopefully, something good will come from our chats.

Sounds like you had a fab time, Id have give anything to have been sat on your shoulder and watching.
So, sounds like you may have a customer with the director of the magazine, please tell what youre wearing on your nails. I loved your many coloured glitter ones at Olympia.

I had to do a talk last night as part of my 7407 training. It was supposed to be on Communication. I managed to turn it round to MMA, and received a round of applause for it. I was really chuffed, the men took their handouts home to show their wives and I have gained a new client, wooo hooo!!!

Hope the director of the mag gets back to you for some factual info .... as well as a fabby set of nails!

Liza was at the shoot as part of my team with Streeters. It was a great opportunity for her but its not appropriate to talk give details (especially with someone who gets permanently followed by the 'paps'!!)

Perhaps Liza will update you when it get published in around 3 months.

as mum says, detail on the shoot will come later when its published, just wanted to let you know that sometimes we get jobs that take us away form the norm, it doesnt have to be a celeb, shoots are an enjoyable change that challanges you in a different way.
