hubby has just left for the airport as he is heading off to scotland to look for a house to rent, he wont be back till sunday night and my eldest daughter is at my sisters so it is just me and 9 year old daughter sky-crystel at home, so we have decided we are going to have a real girly night in.
i have been told by her i must go and get the buggest bag of pop corn i can find and loads of other munchies, then we are going to paint eachothers finger and toe nails and give each other a facial, then she said she wants to do some makeup on me, and when it has got late (after bb eviction) we are going to curl up in my bed with the popcorn and watch as many dvd's as we can untill we both fall asleep, im looking forward to it as i cant remember the last time we had a girly night in, then tomarrow we are going swimming , bowling, and to the cinema as she wants to watch madigascar, im going to be nackared, lol

I have two boys so I miss out on the girlie things, but on Friday nights we always have a ..... crap and movie night...( eat as much junk food as we can whilst watching a movie) we have done this for the last year and still love our friday nights... you have a great time with your girlie night cos one day they will be too old to do it...

My hubby's is away in France and Faye and I just had the best girly weekend ever......
Ok we let her boyfriend play a little to, but just as far as getting the chinese....
Then took the boys swimming for the first time, I think girly nights or even weekends with your daughter just get better and better each time and Faye is 25 now and we have lots of them.....
I hope she is still up for it when I shuffle along in my zimmer frame......
Daughters are just so cool.............

You are right Ruth, I'm now 28 and me and my mum have the best weekends together. She treated me to a weekend at a health spa last year which was heavenly and I had holidays with her just the 2 of us since I was 16 (when my stepdad died) - she still calls me her little pal! I love spending time with her, only yesterday she came over to Leeds and we had lunch and did a little shopping xxxxx

Me and my little girl love have girlie sessions, she loves it when I do her nails and give her a Spa pedicure. She also loves our shopping days, even more so if she gets a treat. I love her to pieces, all 26 yrs of her. lol
