hubby has just been on the phone and he has found a house in scotland, it is in a little fishing town named stonehaven, i wont get to see it untill the day we move in but i trust hubby to have found somewhare decent, it is a 6 month rental (hopeing to have sold our house in hemel by then) he has got to call the letting agents monday morning to let them know we will have the house and then get all the paperwork sorted, the letting agent has said they reckon we can be ready to move in about 10 days but i have said we wont go untill nearer the end of august.
i am very nervous as i have never been to scotland and hubby had not been there either untill his plane touched down there last night,
hereth start a new adventure

lol, i dont like to be slow about things, we thought the sooner we could moove the beter as then we could try to have the kids booked in to school ready to start on the first day back so they dont get disrupted, i have been looking at pics of stonehaven on the net and it looks lovely, it is a small fishing community, loads of countryside and palces to go with the kids and still only 20 minute commute to aberdeen airport so hubby can get to and from work each week,

Ooh my Mother in Laws family originates from Stonehaven. I am about 80 miles from it, hope everything goes well with the move!

we may have to meet up half way one day for a coffee, then i can say i know atleast one person in scotland,
what is it like for nails there? to be honest i havent even looked in to the nail market there i may find ive got a ton of stock and no clients, lol

That would be fab - we must make a date, I am in Aberdeen every few weeks.
TBH I dont know much about Stonehaven, dont actually remember ever being there. I am sure there will be a market as I would bet my last pennies that there are loads of folk travel who to Aberdeen to have their nails done.

hubby is calling the letting agents monday morning (if there open as i have just reolised its a public holiday on monday in scotland) to say we will take the house, i just hope noone else beats us to it as i have my heart set on it now, and hubby has fallen in love with the place

i hope there is a market for nails as hubby will be away monday to friday, kids will be at school and i will have no friends , it will just be me, the puppy and the mad cockatoo, my pets will have the best looking nails around if i cant get any clients

I'm sure you'll find gobs of clients once you get there and settled.

oh wow , you dont mess about do ya hun , i think you are really brave, and i am sure it will make you happy , (well apart from doing the unpacking ), and if its a small town and no nail tech , then thats fab you will corner the market, get a big ad in the local paper when you get yourself settled , and i bet you will be run off your feet,
