Dairy and soya allergy - 04-07-12, 07:57 AM

Hi
I know this is not industry related at all but with so many different people on here i thought i'd throw ot out there to.see if anyome has any advice.
My 13 month old darling little boy has a dairy and soya allergy. I find myself giving him constant pasta veg etc etc. Has anyone dealt with thos and can reccommend any different or specialist food shops to give him a bit of variety.
Thanks :-)

Oh bless you! My youngest when he turned 1 became allergic to almost everything! Started with dairy. Then gluten and wheat. Then soya! Lived on tomato based pasta dishes for a year! He was on oately milk and soya yogurts. Goodness direct was a fan website where you could search the foods by allergy saving you the horrible task of scrutinising the ingredients.

I myself am allergic to dairy and my son has now outgrown it so I've a lifetime dealing with this. I never went for new recipes I just substituted normal butter/marg/milk for soya for myself or oately for him.

If you have anything specific to ask please just on me. I'll be more than happy to help!
