A local little girl whom our very own geek Louise is close to needs my/our help!!

Her name is Kira and she has Cerebral Palsy.

Kira has been having botox injections to help her walk and even though they have helped slightly, she will still need two operations. One is to make her hip muscles longer and one is to straighten her bone that has twisted.

Doctors/surgeons say she will be unable to walk until she has had these operations around the age of 8.

As Kira can't walk - her activity is limited. Kiras mum and dad are trying to raise money to buy her a special car seat to match her special bike that has been made to allow her to go on short rides.

Anyway this is where I am asking you guys to come in......

As you know I work for The Body Shop and I am holding a fundraising night (organised by Tracy, Kira's mum) in the local school.

We need to find raffle prizes...any kind of raffle prizes, to raffle off to raise the £1000 needed for her chair.

PLEASE GUYS WILL YOU TRY AND HELP!!

Anything you have....anything boxed that you haven't used, and prizes you feel you could give.

I will post a picture of this little girl so you can see how special she is!

I will go through my stuff this weekend for you hun!

i have also just found 2 gorgious african (they are authentic hubby brought them back when he worked out there) wooden calved elephants, they have been packed away in the loft since he brought them back and they have just been brought out as im moveing tomarow night, you can have them aswell if you want, im going on a mission now to look for things

LMAO - my mum is doing the same as we speak! LOL

so far we have wine, champers, hampers, body shop has donated big gift bags!

so far i have found, all the bits i said before, the elephants, hair accessaries, a new crossstich kit, a destress book set, and i think i have some dvd's that i brought the kids and they never opened, im on a mission to fill this box

i cannot begin to thank you enough!

Kira is my goddaughter & such a special little girl. She never lets anything get her down & always has a smile on her face.

So please fellow geeks fromt he bottom of my heart, anything you can do to help, no matter how big or small. We desperately need to raise money to get this car seat which is specially adapted for Kira & will help & benefit her.
