Nice to have an extra hour sleep in the mornings - reminds me of when i used to work nights, every year we would maon and groan at having to work that extra hour - and the day staff would breeze in an hour later than normal whilst we held our eyes open with matchsticks!! - we got them back in the summer though when the clocks went forward

thanks for the reminder... I have been saying all week to put the clocks back but it had totally slipped my mind this evening ... must be all the excitement of the choral concert I was just in...

What a bloomin performance- the clock in the lounge fell off the wall, didn't know how to do clocks on microwave or cooker - far too complicated for me. the clock in the bathroom stopped and I couldn't do my watch as the thing was to fiddly to pull out with my enhancements on!! so now i haven't a clue what time it is!

this time of year always reminds me of when i worked at the shop - every sunday morning without fail 'cider sid' (local alchoholic) would come in for a bottle of cider as soon as licensing hours kicked in he was ok as long as u didnt upset him cos then he went off in a drunken rant!! he came in on the sunday after we changed the clocks tried to buy a bottle i said im sorry i cant serve you - he had a go saying why not im not doing anything wrong buying it etc etc went off on one - im like no i mean i cant serve u for another hour cos of licensing laws and we changed the clocks back last night. the poor blokes face was a picture. exactly one hour later he was back though!! xx
