Speaking of Urban Myths does anyone have this one doing the rounds in your town......

I'll keep it short.......a relative of a friend of a friend found a wallet in a shopping mall and looked about for someone who may have lost it. They saw a man looking around as if they'd lost something so went over to discover that he had indeed lost his wallet.....the man ewas very pleased and thankful to have his wallet back and asked where the relative of the friend of a friend came from and when they said Bristol they were told 'stay away from the Mall (large shopping precinct) in December!!

I've heard a few versions of this in the last few weeks!

I had an email from a friend with this theme but more detailed and the woman apparently delivered the wallet to his house and he thanked her for her honesty and told her to stay away from the Mall on the 11th December. This one was also about Bristol.

Definately urban Myth material, but with everything going on these days we all take notice. Sadly we all live with this kind of risk in towns and cities, question is do we change our habits because of it?

Yeah the 11th December did come into one of the versions I heard and another said that the person who found the wallet was in Manchester at the time! I think someone just wants the Mall to themselves so they can get their Christmas shopping done in peace!
