I've just booked myself on a course in reiki (having an impulse week, spent £170 on an ad yesterday and £100 just now, and the money isn't flowing in at the mo but I am sure it will do soon) as I am interested in helping people and healing I had it done a few weeks ago and it was amazing.

It's at the beginning of March I am so excited. What's more, the woman who runs it is from the same part of the world as me (same village) which is 4 hours from where we live now, and has the same name as my mum. . Sure sign it is meant to be.

If anyone fancies being a model to be "healed" after my course is complete you are more than welcome if you can get to the Surrey area. I won't charge if you can get to my house.

I have completed my Reiki 1 and it was good, did not feel it was the right time for me to go on and do the second level. I am really glad my local college do a course as mines was only £42.00.

I go on a Thursday morning to practice Reiki - I personally think it is fantastic The lady that runs the course said that as we worked together as a group the healing would become stronger and I believe she is right.

Last week we we were fluffing up our auroas (SP?) two ladies per person. When it came to my turn to be fluffed up I had youg girl called Donna on one side and somebody called Racheal on the other. After I had been fluffed up I felt that I was lobsided and that I was going to fall over - honestly it was the weirdest feeling Anyway Sue who runs the course asked what if anything I had felt, so I told her lobsided she said that it was because Rachael had been far more vigourous with her fluffing technique whereas Donna had been quite gentle. So if I understood correctly the energy on the side which Rachael had fluffed was moving far quicker than the energy on Donna's side - hence the toppling over feeling.

Some people left cos they didn't believe in it and thought it was spooky but I'm pretty open minded and if nothing else you manage to have a morning of relaxation and feel refreshed afterwards.

I don't really know much about this but is it sort of like the way you feel like having a good cry after a massage?

I took my Reiki level 1... I really enjoyed it. I try to encorporate it into any massage that I do at work. Mostly I love it for myself. I want to take Level 2, but just haven't had the time.

Ive done my level two Reiki and will be doing level three this easter, yes it is quite amazing and well worth while learning. It's good to give yourself Reiki each day plus using it on other people as often as possible in the beginning seems to strengthen your Reiki. Good luck with it Sue.
