Eyelash extention course reccomendation? -
14-03-06, 10:47 PM
Hi all, I went to Excel with a clear goal in mind, to buy a new tanning system, and to book myself onto an eyelash extension course. I did not do either!! I love the excel show but found that I got so confused and over informed that I ended up doing none of what i set out to do!! I am therefore at all of your mercy! Has anyone done an eyelash extension course, (not Jinnylash-far to expensive) and been happy/dissapointed. I think I am looking at either I-Lash or Lavish Lashes. Any opinions would be greatly and gladly appreciated!

I know a lot of girls who are going on the lavish lashes course & hopefully me too eventually, apprantley they are becoming really popular as they are an individual woven extension rather than glued so you get a much longer lasting effect - hope this helps

the start up is pricey but where i am based you can charge about 100 a set so you recoup pretty quick. I still want to make sure i book onto the right course though as such a big payout! Lavish lashes are about 200 pound more expensive, and from comparing the kit contents and quality of products they are like for like, (to my untrained eye)!!!! Was hoping someone would have done one of the courses??!!

I-lash -

I have not tried personally tried I-lash, but my friend in the States has used them and she was not impressed with the glue. Please don't shoot the messenger!!! I am just telling people what I have heard. If I HAD to choose between Lavish Lashes and I-Lash, I would most likely choose Lavish. But Lavish is quite expensive. I currently use Lash-Envy and am quite pleased with their glue and lashes. Their Glue works very well. One little drop will last me 2 hours on the jade plate. The remover has a stronger scent than I prefer, but it does a great job at removing the lashes. Most of my customers do not mind the remover, but I have a few that find the citrus scent a little strong. It does not cause stinging, it just has a stronger scent. Ohh, one thing though, Lash Envy does not have training! they are in Australia. they're site is www.lash-envy.com

They've changed their name to lash beauty (www.lashbeauty.com) It depends on how much I order, it is usually around $15US for the shipping, when it comes up on my credit card it usually is around £8- £9. I buy a lot of the Longer Life Coatings since my clients love it. When I order 15 at a time, they are a bit heavier and the shipping is around £10 - £12. I think it also varies because of the exchange rate. Lash Beauty charges in US, but when I pay with my paypal account with my credit card the bank exchanges it automatically. If you're going to try their glue, get the pro-glue plus. I find it works better for me. it is quicker drying. If you're not in a hurry to order, I was told that they will be having a special in september because they are getting thicker lashes in. I think they're .2mm thick. the ones I have been getting from them is .15mm. so if you can wait, maybe see what specials they will have.
