Just to let you all know I think there is a new telephone scam going round. Ive just answered my home phone to a recorded message of some bloke by the name of Partick informing mo to ring a phones number to arrange collection of my radio??
The reason I think this is a scam is due to the fact that my answer machine is full on my phone and when I dialed 1471 the number was witheld!
I cant phone NTL til tomorrow to varify but if you get this hang up and take a note of the time then call your service provider

I had a call like this last week! I just hung up as knew it was scam straight away, I am sure If I had rang the number back I would have seen a £50+ charge on my phone bill grrrrrrrrrrrr

yes I too have had a strange one...recorded message from an american man you have won a prize blah blah blah. I hung up. Somehow if you press 9 whilst listening to the message doing what it says they then add a LOT OF MONEY to your phone bill!!

yip got the radio one last week ignored it cos it sounded like a scam
