Question "Portable" Nail Varnish Display - 30-03-06, 08:22 AM

Hi,

Can anyone recommend where I can get a “portable” nail varnish display like the one on Ebay. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, but should be reasonable priced as I don’t have a lot of extra cash at the moment……

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=9501904848&rd=1&sspage name=STRK%3AMEDW%3AIT&rd=1

THANKS

i got one from the essie stand at g-mex. it was about £15.
its a clear plastic box with little squares inside and its double sided im sure it can easily fit about 50 in. i will try and find a link for you.

2 questions?!.... - 30-03-06, 11:10 AM

Where can I get a nail polish collection complete with a carry case, a good quality colection rather than having to buy them all separately?

Also at the moment I spend just over 2 hrs doing a full set of acrylics and I file and buff to blend, are tip blending solutions any good are they worth using?

PS: Is 2 hours too long - I have only been doing this for 6 weeks so am still learning! My first set took nearly 3 hours but had no lifting and were still perfect 2 weeks later!

creative nails do a grey carrycase/brief case which hold up to 30 of their enamels, i am sure you can also order 30 enamels from them and they can tell you their top selling enamels

Also at the moment I spend just over 2 hrs doing a full set of acrylics and I file and buff to blend, are tip blending solutions any good are they worth using? have a read on the tutorials on this site, they will help with everything you are having trouble with, they are brilliant

2 hours to me is pretty good time actually with experience and the more practise and hands on you get your timing will improve, my time is between 1hr30 to 1hr40 for a full set

Hi,

Yes I noticed that.

However, I'm really looking for a portable nail varnish display "rack" rather than a carry case as I will be doing a Ladies Coporate Event and don't want to whip out my normal method of transporting my varnishes which is a tupperware container !

for a beginner I think that's fine. My first set took me 2 and 1/2 hours so....I've been watching and doing nails for awhile so I takes me around 45-55 mins (without chatting)....around 1hr20mins if I talk a lot

Small polish racks - Millennium (as said already), Orly do one which holds 13 polishes (doesn't sound like a lot but is actually really good for getting people not to spend aaaages choosing a colour) http://www.salonsdirect.com/PD_69239.aspx
Alternatively I think Creative do a 'bucket bag' with lots of clear pockets which you could use to transport and store your colours - just get people to chose from a painted wheel.
Konad also do one now which has lots of pockets inside but it's hideously expensive! http://www.training4beauty.co.uk/sho...roducts_id=208

For nail polish collections that come in a kit or case already - both Creative and Zoya (sold through Supernail in the UK) sell a carry case with polishes. With Creative I think it's a 30 polish case and you can chose your colours, with Zoya I think it's the whole core line of colours.
