Hi
I just wanted to see what everyone does for Easter. My husbands family have a big lunch on the Good Friday together ( just immediate family) and on Easter Sunday one of his Aunty's or his Mum do a massive feast for all of the relatives to come and stay all day, lunch and dinner, to pig out. Then Monday, they do a family picnic somewhere. Bit to much family in one weekend for me, but i do appreciate all the family times for my kids who enjoy it so! I grew up without really celebrating Easter in my family, you would get an Egg and that was about it.
What do you do?
Anyway whatever you do, hope its a happy and safe one!!!

i like the fact that i can have a day without a schedule. i spend so much of my life running to appointment times with clients and school etc. that it feels like such a treat to go at my own pace.
we dont do anything elaborate, but i love sitting down to a meal together and chatting about whats been going on, thats becoming more and more difficult now i have grown up children .

it seems that food figures in most peoples plans. when ever you go to the supermarket at holiday time it looks like people are shopping for a nuclear war not a bank holiday !

My fav thing of the who Eater Break is the Easter Egg hunt first thing Sunday morning. I have 3 little ones 5, 4 and 2.5 and its just a scream to watch them with their little baskets tearing up the house to find the Eggs

i dont buy chocolate eggs as the kids would rather have the money and go out for the day
this sunday i am picking up my son and taking him out for the day, i cant wait, no doubt we will pig out on hotdogs etc and have a great time

Well we were supposed to be moving house this weekend but not anymore!

We are going to go to the caravan instead for a few days and then coming home for a big family meal on Monday lunch.

I live surrounded by fields and one Easter my Mum and Dad went out and planted Ester Eggs everywhere.

We had a basket each and 15 eggs to find, they were hidden in grass, under trees, in the chicken pen, rabbit hutch, greenhouse, shed, field, everywhere!!

It was the most fab Easter ever!

Aw I wish my kids were younger this sounds lovely

it only happened the once but it was cool - we had clues and everything!

i am definately going to do an egg hunt there for them when I have my kids!

my husbands cousin - who is 8 - is having a easter party this afternoon. i am helping out, we are making sugar nests, having an egg hunt in the garden making easter cards then I am going to do pretty easter nail art on them all!! she has 5 friends over so should be fun!
on sunday my parents are coming down from cornwall, they haven't seen scarlett for 6 weeks so they are gagging!
i bought her a white chocolate button egg today i never give her choc (she is only 8 months old) but will let her have alittle bit on sunday.
