Installing the Spell Checker -
25-04-06, 01:01 PM
Just in case anyone has tried to install the spell checker but failed, here's the simple instructions. Take note please that this only works for Internet Explorer, if you use a different browser, dont bother with this.
1, Go and download the files. 2, Install the spell checker by running the downloaded file. 3, Close all browser windows. 4, Open a browser window and your spell checker should be available when you next want to post. You'll see a small icon at the top right of the edit window, a tick mark with ABC above it. Sorted. |

Great now most geeks have it installed (thanks Seanny)...maybe some will even start to use it!!!
Make sure though geeks that you have it on UK English...and not American!!...I had mine on that for ages and it used to infuriate me...having to ignore most of the corrections it gave!!! Joking aside I wouldn't be without it......and with so many geeks from all parts of the world for whom English is a 2nd (or third!) language it is much easier for them to understand us when we spell things properly. |
