Hi just wondered what you thought of Veet Wax Strips? I normally get my legs waxed in the local beauty salon but haven't time to go this week and my legs look like I am turning into a wolf and as with the weather getting warmer I REALLY need to something
I hate shaving and have never tried creams so I got a pack from the chemist today but haven't been brave enough to try them yet so before I do take the plunge any advice would be great

Make sure you warm them between your hands. To be honest I found that they didnt work...big pain factor for no results.

i used them and i dint think the results lasted that long and they didnt remove all the hairs - but hey it may have just been me! xx

These are ok as a stop gap,but remember to warm them properly between palms,press firmly all over the strip,support the skin/stretch then pull in opposite direction.I have had ladies who have bruised themselves with these strips,and they are quite painful as they are very sticky plus because they are not using warm wax the hair follicle isnt opened making the removal of the hair more painful.pull the strip in an upward/almost pulling back on itself rather than yanking it off.Hope this makes sense and helps.Good luck.

I really dont like pain so why oh why did I buy a Satin Ice? Omg I have never felt so much pain in all my life and Ive had 2 kids lol. I tried it once sober I tried it twice tiddly and I tried it three times after a bottle of wine but it still hurt like mad!

They didnt work very well for me either! Quite painful, VERY sticky, not much hair removed! Had to do the same area over and over again to get a smooth result! The hair grew back quickly too. The wipe they give you to remove the residue absolutely stinks! - I'll stick to the salon in future I think!

Tried on bikini line and OMG it was so painfull! Hubby thought it was great fun though so I have had to hide them.......

Well I have done it they didn't hurt to bad but I do have a high pain thresh hold but boy do they not work it did remove abit but not everything so it looks like I will have to use something different maybe its time to have a go with the cream
