Hi, seeking advise buying airbrush!!!

Can you use the same kind of airbrush for painting (cars, phones all sort of things - boyfriend) and nails? We couldnt agree, I think you can, just need to clean it VERY good, or maybe get a different gun (dunno if its called that, hope you know what I mean)... Boyfriend doesnt believe me.

If we could, he would pay

I think you would need a tiny needle for painting nails and to paint cars you would be better off with a larger needle and a cup? I am sure someone else will put me right if i'm wrong

Have you already got an airbrush and compressor, or are you looking for one that you can use to do nails AND cars???

The airbrush itself is the bit that you hold in your hand, usually silver, and the compressor is the big thing that you attach an air hose to which then connects to the airbrush and powers the air through it. Compressors are what determines how much air is powered through the airbrush - you CAN get compressors that are capable of powering an airbrush to paint a car - but these are usually bigger as you need more power to push the right amount of air through to get the coverage you need to paint a car... Im waffling now!

For nails you need a small cup that is attached to the airbrush, and a very small needle in the airbrush about 2mm.

I know nothing about spraying cars - lol - but for body tanning you need a bigger needle and a bottle that is attached to the airbrush for the solution,
so for a car Im gusessing you would need a BIG bottle for the paint too!

An airbrush that is used for painting is the same that is used for the murals and pictures that are painted on cars, motorbikes, portraits, nails etc. The picture that is my avatar is an airbrushed pic using the same airbrush that I use to airbrush nails.
A spraygun is what is used for the solid colours that are applied to the car.

EDIT: Forgot to add that the paint used for airbrushing nails is water based acrylic, whereas car paint is usually solvent based.
