I am doing a makeup for a long term client as she is getting married...but apart from a card Im wondering if I should have got her a present...its just that by the time we gave all our clients pressies for occassions we would be out of pocket...so I am just wondering what everyone else would do...she is a long term client and we get on really well!!!!

i would give her a card only, then i bet she gets you a pressy to say thanks

I don't when doing nails but as I said in another thread the other day I was thinking about it, my mum does when she does bridal make overs something like a mini satain hands pack.

when ive got a client who is a real reg.... like ive done their nails for yrs... i sometimes do their wedding nails for free.... charge em for other stuff tho like if their bridesmaids have nails etc...
altho saying that not many of my regs are getting married... they have all done it already!....lol

Yes thats a good idea. Cos her hubby to be isnt your cleint too, so getting a pressie just for her on THEIR wedding day isnt right somehow.
Nails done for free as a pressie is the perfect way to go about it!! and just a card maybe

Well I ended up getting her just a small wedding type photo frame which was quite cute, I just felt awful not taking anything...but its a real dilemma to know what to do for the best.

well, i've got a regular who i see once a week, and i bought her a 90th birthday pressie.... well... who wouldn't? 90!!!!!!! and she's so lovely!!!!

Also does anyone buy presents for clients babies or do they just but them a card and do the "cross the babies hand with silver {money}" ? My clients have always been good to me and never sure whether to return the favour.
