Idea homemade foot scrubs/ exfolients - 19-07-06, 06:25 PM

I was thinking about making my own foot scrubs for my pedicures. Does anyone have some good recipes?

mix some sugar with some sweet almond oil to make a brilliant scrub that leaves you wonderfully moisturised.

you can make a good moisturising mask with dried milk powder and oatmeal mixed with sweet almond oil or jojoba oil.

You could possibly use Brown sugar and maybe a not so thick honey based scrub? Don't know if it's entirely useful but you could always try!

If you google home made exfoliants and such, you'll find great recipes. I do it all the time, using sweet almond oil, brown sugar, white sugar and an essential oil to scent as per client's preference.

They LOVE it

natural foot scrub - 19-07-06, 09:06 PM

I mix together dead sea salts with a foot oil called Healthy Feet from Alquimia (www.alquimia-uk.com), just enough oil and salt to get a workable consistency. The oil contains tea tree, lavender, sage and coriander and is great for tired, aching feet. The mixture of essential oils are good for deodorising the feet (good in this weather!) and my clients also say it helps to ease their calluses. Hope that helps !
