I had laser treatment to remove my tattoo on my hand, and i have to say that although it was uncomfortable, it really wasnt that bad! If something bothers you that much, you will put up with anything to get rid of/improve the situation, so good luck and go for it!!

I have laser on my bikini line. pain is ok, bu my last one io was on my period and it killed!! effects are really good. ive had my 3rd trestment and im pretty happy with results. stays smooth for weeks until the next lot of hair grows through. I have a course of 6 treatments, then pay for them as i need them. dont know how many i will need in total, between 6 - 12, so a nice narrowed down estimate then! lol.

We did an intense pulsed light ttreatment where I worked. it was called depilite. I never had it done myself but most people that had said it felt like being pinged constantly with an elastic band.
It is more or less permenant but you would have to do a course of them beacause of the different stages of hair growth. Sometimes it can take 10 treatments. It was very sucessfull on everyone that had it done and there were quite a few to say the least |

We do laser at the salon. It works best with dark hair in pale skin. On darker skins the intensity of the laser will have to be lower as darker skins burn easily. With darker skins the results are slower as a result.
It works by using the pigment in the hair. The heat from the light/laser is absorbed in to the follicle, this causes the follicle to shrink or die. It is important to wear sun protection after each session. If the skin becomes darker there is a good chance that the skin will burn. |

im under the assumption that it is permanent, however the hairs have to be in their anagen (active) stage to be treated. and as some hairs can lay dormant 4 quite a while you have to be aware that they might pop up even after the course has ended.
i dont think that electrolosis is any more permanent. but laser hasnt been around long enough for anyone to be 100% sure, whereas electrolosis has been around for aaaaaaaages! but im guessing newer, not to mention more expensive, technology should be more effective! im sure there is plenty on the www to research! xx |
