Well, have taken the bull by the horns and after hours of reading on this fab site have booked a 2 day progression course (L&P) with EZFlow.
I finished 10 weeks of study at college about a month ago (ITEC man and ped and nail technology) I enjoyed the course and did well, but naively thought I would be a first rate nail tech at the end of it!!
Although am doing ok, I dont think OK is good enough.
At first I felt really down as have spent a lot of money and time gaining "a recognised qualification" Without finding this site I think I would have sat in the corner and given up! instead am off to Doncaster next wednesday for more training.
If i am honest I am quite nervous, especially the fact that I am spending more and more money, with so far little return, I love nails and really want to be a first rate tech.

Good luck on your course....it's great that you have taken the plunge and decided that your future lies in being a first rate tech....your investment will pay dividends in the future...honest!

Thank you to both of you for your support! Can't tell you how much it means, coming from people who understand what I am waffling on about. My friends in the real world (as opposed to my fellow geeks in cyber world) mean well, but don't understand the industry or what is really involved in being a first rate tech!!!
